The UI/UX Engineer at Hosting is someone passionate about delivering experiences that impress our customers. The UI/UX Engineer is responsible for delivering the visual elements in Hosting’s internal and external systems. He or She will be tasked with working with a cross-functional team during the product delivery cycle, and ensuring that consistency and usability is delivered to customers.
The UX/UI Engineer at Hosting will create designs for end users that are attractive and functional; make unified designs that are accessible to customers. In charge of the design process from the mockup stage to the final product. Work with engineers and product owners to create a friendly and intuitive user experience architecture. Keep up with industry best practices for web application design, experience design, and usability. Motivate the development team to follow the design vision and follow through on delivery.
The UX/UI Engineer at Hosting will also make sure UX/UI design processes are followed and take into account all relevant teams input. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to demonstrate interaction and design concepts. Understand user’s needs better to determine the broad UX framework which ensures quality user experience across HOSTING’s products. Work with product managers to continually enhance customer satisfaction with usability studies and testing. Help implement the interaction and design concepts into the company products by working alongside the software engineers. This person will be responsible for developing CSS and HTML and fixing UI issues that relate to the HTML or CSS.
Facilitate user experience design and implement/manage experience features on behalf of HOSTING. Responsible for leading a group of developers to form an effective user experience model. Motivate a group of technical team members in finding a common set of design ideas which meet all project needs. Participate in many stages of development, including creation, implementation, testing, and shipping. Motivate engineers to create quality user experiences, and also conduct assessments to verify usability, stability, and visual design.
Provide feedback and analyze market research feedback to strengthen customer engagement. Participate in testing sessions to find issues and bugs in their design and attend business meetings to suggest important changes to the work. Utilize numerous prototypes and design ideas to organize information.
Must deliver an exceptional customer experience
Work with all HOSTING departments as appropriate to understand customer needs and business requirements.
Design, conduct, and evaluate studies to understand and improve user experience.
Work directly with customers to define their needs and ensure a positive experience.
Create and implement strategies that improve user experience through design.
Analyze web data, competitive analyses, industry trends, and usability studies to develop requirements.
Create user-focused designs informed by market analysis, customer feedback and requirements, and user research analytics.
Drive development of user experience designs, including research, scenarios, wireframes, and testing.
Set vision and lead meetings to brainstorm project goals and define the desired user experience.
Conceptualize, design, and communicate user-centered design solutions.
Develop example high-level requirements, conceptual diagrams, and visual interface designs.
Create key design deliverables specific to each product, such as scenarios and use cases.
Design mock-ups and click-through prototypes as necessary for each product.
Present design concepts and deliverables that meet business requirements.
Adhere to a UX/UI style guide and standards
Work with others in a cross-functional agile development environment
Review existing code and provide suggestions and guides for refactoring to ensure visual consistency
Educate and train Engineering and Architecture team members on proper CSS, HTML, Bootstrap usage
Participate in daily standups and deliver bi-weekly interactive demos to customers
Participate in the product-design process by leveraging your experience to provide sound feedback and technical direction
Participate in peer-reviews of code and offer suggested refactorings in line with best-practice design patterns
Establish strong communication and cooperation with other company departments
Collaborate with marketing and other departments to create a unified experience across marketing assets, UX, applications and more.
Support issues escalated to engineering
3 years experience in a UX or UI role
Ability to learn and communicate technical information
Strong portfolio of experience in enterprise web application development
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
