A seasoned entrepreneur and startup executive, Joel Daly has a proven track record of establishing operational strategies that position emerging companies for long-term growth. As CEO at HOSTING, Joel oversees all operational activities while ensuring that each department has the tools and resources they need to create the best possible customer experience. Joel also leads the HOSTING direct and indirect channel sales teams and programs from inception to sales success.
Prior to HOSTING, Joel served as COO of QTC Management, a leading provider of medical examination and occupational health services. Previously, he co-founded and served as COO of INFLOW, an application hosting services provider. While at INFLOW, Joel oversaw the construction, operations and availability of 14 data centers throughout the United States. Joel also co-founded and served as Vice President of Operations for LINK-VTC, a global provider of videoconferencing services. LINK-VTC was acquired by Global Crossing in 1995.
Joel holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in management from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

As President of HOSTING, Bill provides the direction and management of all sales and marketing operations to accelerate HOSTING growth initiatives.
Prior to HOSTING, Bill launched the services division for SHI, a $3.2 billion software and hardware retailer. During his tenure, Bill established SHI’s overall service vision and strategy, including lifecycle services, software enablement, datacenter consulting, cloud computing services, and long-term contract services. Previously, Bill served as Director of Strategy and Innovation for IBM Global Services where he spearheaded business and technical development activities with Xcel Energy.
Bill holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from MIT.
– Executive Vice President of Customer InsightsMeet Rick
Rick has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology Services industry in a variety of capacities, including consulting, investing and operational roles.
As Vice President of Customer Insights, Rick is responsible for leveraging customer information to drive revenue growth through marketing and channel activities. Before moving to his current position, Rick served as the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations for HOSTING, where he was responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities of the firm, as well as systems and processes involved in revenue assurance.
Prior to HOSTING, Rick was an associate at Meritage Private Equity Funds, a communications focused venture capital firm. While at Meritage, Rick served on the investment committee and as interim COO for a portfolio company.
Rick also served as Manager of Business Operations at Inflow, Inc. until the company was acquired by Sungard Availability Services. Prior to Inflow, Rick was a consultant in Accenture’s Telecommunications Practice where he specialized in the Dynamic Middle Markets group within the Communications industry.
Rick has a B.S. degree in Information Systems from Colorado State University and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
– Chief Operating OfficerMeet Don
Don serves as principal architect and executioner of plans required to realize the HOSTING 2020 Vision. Functions reporting to Don include operations, engineering, product, compliance and security and our HostMySite division.
A 20-plus year veteran of the technology service provider field, Don brings a proven track record for improving operational and financial performance through the application and integration of people, process and technology.
Prior to his role as COO, Don served two years as our EVP of Operations. His cloud roots date back to 2005 when he ran operations at OpSource (now Dimension Data). Don has also held executive-level positions at Qwest (now CenturyLink) and Advanced Technology Group.
A passionate student and teacher of leadership, Don’s “why” is all about bringing out the very best in others. He teaches our Leadership@HOSTING series and enjoys coaching others to higher levels of performance.
Don graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He spent five years as an Infantry officer and is a decorated combat veteran from the First Gulf War.
Don lives in Denver with his wife and two kids where they enjoy the Colorado lifestyle and supporting Colorado Young Leader’s ongoing efforts to produce tomorrow’s leaders today.
– Chief Financial OfficerMeet Chris
Chris has held financial leadership positions in the information technology services industry since 2000. Prior to joining HOSTING, Chris was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with QTC Management, a leading provider of medical examination and occupational health services. Previously, Chris was with INFLOW, an application hosting services provider, where he served as Director of Business Operations and Finance as well as General Manager of the company’s Atlanta data center.
Chris served in the U.S. Air Force as a Business Analyst for a communications satellite acquisition program. He was also an instructor pilot and mission commander in the C-130 Hercules.
Chris holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in management from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
– Chief Technology OfficerMeet Paul
Paul is the CTO at HOSTING as well as the co-founder of Stelligent, a division of HOSTING that leads the market in automated DevOps and Continuous Delivery on the AWS platform. Under Paul’s stewardship, Stelligent began implementing Continuous Delivery solutions on AWS in 2009. Today, it is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner with the DevOps Competency serving enterprise customers.
Paul is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional who has architected, implemented and managed software and systems for more than two decades. He is one of currently 36 AWS Community Heroes worldwide – a designation only bestowed on super users who have an outstanding impact on – and mentorship of – the AWS developer community. He is also a prolific writer and thought leader, and authored the Jolt-award winning Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk(Addison-Wesley, 2007), DevOps in AWS LiveLessons (Addison-Wesley, 2014) and more than 30 articles on automation, DevOps and AWS.
At HOSTING, Paul is the mastermind behind our company’s technical vision and technological development. He is currently writing a book on Enterprise DevOps in AWS in addition to blogging at both Stelligent.com and HOSTING.com. You can also tune in to hear him co-host the DevOps in AWS Radio podcast.
– Executive Vice President of Public Cloud ConsultingMeet Rob
Rob, executive vice president of public cloud consulting and co-founder of Stelligent, a division of HOSTING, has more than 25 years of experience in serving customers through applied software engineering. In his role at HOSTING, he oversees customer engagements and benefits realization in leading public clouds, namely AWS and Azure.
Prior to establishing Stelligent with Paul Duvall, HOSTING CTO, in 2007, Rob founded two other successful boutique software engineering services firms: 5AM Solutions and Number Six Software. In each case, he founded them with his own capital and grew them to become highly successful software and development solutions companies before exiting. He also served as a software consultant with Rational Software.
Rob has contributed to and reviewed a number of acclaimed technology books. He holds a BS in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Rob also serves on the Board of Directors of Sea to Shore Alliance, an environmental nonprofit based in Sarasota, Florida, and is a shareholder and on the Board of Advisors of Imagen Technologies, a healthcare startup in New York City.
