Innovation and Job News: HOSTING hiring 30 in Denver

Don Barlow is the new Executive Vice President of Operations at Denver-based HOSTING and is helping fill 30 new positions, primarily engineering jobs by the end of 2013.

Confluence Denver, July 9, 2013 – Don Barlow is the new Executive Vice President of Operations at Denver-based HOSTING, based near I-25 and Broadway in Platt Park. He’s helping fill 30 new positions, primarily engineering jobs, which will put the Denver staff at about 120 by the end of 2013.

Formerly Hosting.com, based in Louisville, Kentucky, the company is the result of the acquisitions of HostMySite.com (Delaware) and Neospire (Dallas).

“Organizationally, we want to be centered in Denver,” says Barlow of the growth. The company has about 400 employees nationwide.

“We have a showcase data center,” he says of the Platt Park facility, a former Ford Model T factory. “Out of all six of our data centers, it’s the one we put the most into.”

Citing a redundant power grid and “industrial strength,”  Barlow adds, “We can see our data center will grow to push all of us people downstairs to a lower floor.”
